Woman charged with two counts of animal cruelty

Bristol police arrested and charged a woman who may have killed two dogs she owned.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, an investigation found that 23-year-old Veronica Reyes killed her two dogs by handing them on a tree in her yard and then burying them on her property. She was charged last Friday with two counts
of cruelty to animals and is being held on a $10,000 surety bond. Reyes is scheduled to be arraigned in Bristol Superior Court on Tuesday.
