Obituaries: Anna Sidlik DiVenere

Anna (Spinelli) Sidlik DiVenere, 101, of Bristol, widow of Clarence Sidlik and Giovanni DiVenere, died on Wednesday (February 10, 2016) at Ingraham Manor. Anna was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on October 24, 1914 and was one of five children of the late Giuseppe and Concetta (Marinelli) Spinelli. She has been a longtime Bristol resident where she worked for the former E. Ingraham and New Departure Companies. She loved to travel, enjoyed dancing, and was a parishioner of St. Anthony Church, Bristol. Anna is survived by her son: Stephen Sidlik of Florida; four grandchildren: Christine, Charlene, Rebecca, and Stephen; step-sons: John and Leonard DiVenere of Bristol; step-daughter, Lucia DiVenere of Washington, DC; and several great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter: Maryanne Sidlik Mossa, granddaughters: Gina Mossa and Elizabeth Sidlik, and her four siblings: Angelo and Andrew Spinelli, Laura Rogers, and Maria Solari. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (February 15, 2016) at 10 AM at St. Anthony Church, 111 School Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
