The mob’s most anticipated wedding is coming to town. Danny and Donna’s wedding date has been set for Saturday, April 9 and you are cordially invited. That is if you are not packing heat. You can walk in the steps of the mob’s most notorious gangsters and become part of the wildest wedding in years at sponsored by St. Thomas Ladies Guild for their annual fundraiser.
The wedding will be held at the Manor Inn at 1636 Meriden Waterbury Turnpike in Plantsville from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
Insiders have told us that not only is the ceremony going to be one you will never forget, but the reception is expected to top the charts. Uncle Franco, head of the New York family, is throwing the gig so no expense is being spared. Luigi, “the Squeegee” Vendetta; Sal Manilla, and Mario “One Minute” Mancini will all be there.
The actors are professionals from all over Connecticut and several from surrounding areas including Anthony Urillo from Southington who plays the reluctant Groom and Dave Roucoulet from Bristol who portrays the FBI agent.
Now in its 19th year, smash hit, “For Better & For Worse,” is an audience-participation dinner theatre show by AspenDream Productions, Connecticut’s longest running dinner theater company. Written, produced, and directed by Janice Luise-Lutkus of Burlington, the off-Broadway company has performed in over 72 cities in New England for the past 18 years and performed for over 12,000 guests.
“Our shows have expanded into hilarious murder mysteries with singing and dancing. Guests have a great time become part of the family,” Lutkus said in a press release from the Ladies Guild.
“We are honored to be able to support the work that the Ladies Guild does. Each year, members from St. Thomas Ladies Guild donate their time, talent, and energy to support a variety of charitable causes” said executive director, Janice Luise-Lutkus.
