Four suspects arrested for assault at Corner Store

Bristol police arrested and charged four men who assaulted a 27-year-old man at The Corner Store yesterday.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, the assault inside the Divinity Street store did not involve any weapons, and the victim’s injuries were not serious, and the victim refused medical attention at the scene. The victim knew the assailants, who were 21-year-old Brandon Medina of Bristol, 27-year-old Christopher Solis of Bristol, 21-year-old Rodney Lockhart of New Britain, and 33-year-old Victor Negron of certain address, said the release. During the investigation police found three of the suspects with drugs, the release said.
All four suspects were charged with second degree assault, third degree assault and third degree criminal mischief. Medina was held on a $75,000 bond. Solis, who was held on a $50,000 bond, also was charged with possession of marijuana. Lockhart, who was held on a $150,000 bond, also was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, illegal possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and illegal possession within 1,500 feet of a school. Negron, who was held on a $200,000 bond, also was charged with violation conditions of release, illegal possession of narcotics, illegal possession of narcotics with intent to sell and illegal possession within 1,500 feet of a school.
