Obituaries: Angela A. Baehr

Angela A. (DiGiovanna) Baehr, 90, widow of Merton Baehr, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.  She was born April 17, 1925 in Bristol and was a daughter of the late John and Pauline (Falcetta) DiGiovanna and was a lifelong resident of Bristol.  She was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Church.  She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Francis and Laura Baehr of Bristol, and Edward J. and Linda Baehr of Gardner, ME, a daughter and son-in-law, Pauline Benvenuto and Leo Pelletier of Bristol, a sister-in-law, Elnora Grechko of Bristol, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Ernest Benvenuto.  Her family would like to give a huge thank you to Synergy, who made it possible for Mom to remain in her home until the end.  The girls were all wonderful.  A very special thank you to Maureen Flis, Mom’s caretaker for the past eleven months, who became an instant part of our family.  We can never thank her enough for all she did to help make all our lives easier.  “Angie’s” funeral will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at 10:15am in DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.  Public visitation will be Monday from 9 to 10:15am prior to the funeral service.  Donations may be made to St. Joseph Church, 149 Goodwin St., Bristol, CT 06010.  The Baehr Family invites you to send a condolence message in “Angie’s” guestbook at www.dupontfuneralhome.com.Baehr
