Timothy G. “Ace” Parker, 59, of Forestville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, April 3, 2016.
Tim was born in Meriden on November 28, 1956 a son of the late Howard and Eugenia (Smallow) Parker. He was retired as a supervisor after many years with the U.S. Postal Service. In his youth, Tim was an accomplished three sport athlete. He was a smooth fielding first baseman with a potent bat, had a deadly baseline jumper and on the gridiron was an outstanding two way lineman. In later years he umpired women’s fast pitch softball and was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees.
He leaves his son, Kyle S. Parker and his fiancée Shannon Maloney of Boston; brother Andrew Parker and his wife Donna of Simsbury; sister Susan Parker Morgan of Newington; nieces and nephews Emily and Katherine Parker of Simsbury, Haylee and Seann Morgan of Newington, Derrick Godbout, Devin Giguere, Brittany, Brooke and Brandon Maghini all of Bristol.
