Obituaries: Corinne Rajotte

Corinne (Martel) Rajotte, 105, of Bristol, died on Friday (June 3, 2016) at The Pines at Bristol.  Corinne was born on January 26, 1911 in Taftville and was a daughter of the late Maurice and Alice (Guertin) Martel.  She had been the loving wife of Emile Rajotte for 40 years.   She was a lifelong Bristol resident and parishioner of St. Ann Church where she was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann Society.  She worked at the Ingraham factory for many years and enjoyed sewing and making clothes.  Corinne leaves many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Maurice, Paul-Emile, Oredor, and Lionel Martel, Loretta Lavoie, Lillian Lemieux Rode and Rose Blanche Lemieux; nieces: Anita Rouleau Farar, and Janet Summers; and nephew: Robert Lavoie.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (June 7, 2016) at 10 AM at St. Ann Church, 215 West Street, Bristol.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.  There are no calling hours.  Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, is assisting the family.  Memorial donations may be made to the Ladies of St. Ann Society, c/o St. Ann Church, 180 Laurel St., Bristol, CT 06010.  Please visit Corinne’s memorial web-site at www.FunkFuneralHome.comRajotte, Corinne 001
