The Opposition: After getting his nine-game hitting streak snapped in the first game of the series, Carlos Guzman began a new streak in a big way Tuesday night vs. the Bees. The switch-hitter went 2-4 with a grand slam in Somerset’s 10-2 win, and over his past five games is hitting .450 (9-20) with two home runs and 11 RBIs.
Key to the Game – Go out on a high note:Following tonight’s game, the Bees hit the road for an eight-game road trip that takes them to Lancaster and Somerset. Before they leave, though, they first need to focus on winning the current series vs. the Patriots. A series win will put the Bees 5.5 games back of the Patriots in the division and likely gives the team a boost as it tries to make a playoff push.
