The Bees: In his lone start of the season against the Patriots, Josh Outman put together a solid start, allowing three runs (all earned) while striking out two in 6.2 innings in June 7. In his last two starts, Outman has pitched very well, pitching to a 2.77 ERA in 13 innings with the Bees winning both games.

The Opposition: Right-hander Will Oliver will make his season debut for the Patriots tonight. The former 35th round draft pick of the Yankees in 2010 spent the first part of 2016 pitching for Reynosa in the Mexican League. He appeared in nine games (all starts) for Somerset in 2015, pitching to a 3.17 ERA and posting a 6-2 record.

New Britain– LHP Josh Outman (1-3, 4.96) | Somerset-RHP Will Oliver (0-0, 0.00)

Key to the Game – Just win, baby:With just seven games to go in the first half, the Bees sit 5.5 games in back of Somerset for the top spot in the Liberty Division. The Bees cannot afford to lose many more games if they plan on winning the first half, which means tonight should be treated as a must-win.
