Obituaries: Helen Dick

 

Helen (Sedletski) Dick, 92, of Bristol, widow of Clyde M. Dick, Jr., passed away on Friday (June 24, 2016) at Bristol Hospital.  Helen was born in Bristol and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Wielgot) Siedlecki.  She was a lifelong Bristol resident, attended local schools and retired at the age of 85 from Adkins Printing, New Britain.  A WWII Veteran, initially entered the Canadian Army and then transferred to the U.S. Army. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Bristol and a diehard Boston Red Sox fan.  Helen is survived her nieces and nephews: James A. Nadeau and his wife Carole, Denise Nadeau, Jeff, Todd, Greg, Heidi and Brandon; a dear Godson: James Williams and her dearest friend: Mary Cartona.  Helen was predeceased by her son Clyde M. Dick, III; a brother: Chester Sedletski and two sisters: Natalie S. Nadeau and Regina S. Pijanowski.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 510 West St. Bristol.  Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.  There are no calling hours and the Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol is in care of the arrangement.  Please visit Helen’s memorial website at www.FUNKFUNERALHOME.com  Dick, Helen 001
