The Bees: New Britain comes out of the All-Star break having split their most recent series with the Bridgeport Bluefish. In seven games since the start of the second half, the Bees are 3-4, but overall own a 39-38 record.
The Opposition: Winners of the first half in the Freedom Division with a 40-30 record, the Revolution have gotten off to a slow start in the second half. York is so far just 2-5 in the second half, having lost two of three to Bridgeport and three of four to Sugar Land.
Key to the Game – Hit the ground running: While the second half is already underway, the All-Star break has given the team a chance to rest and recover. This will be especially helpful for the bullpen as it has had to pick up some of the slack of late with the Bees losing two starting pitchers to MLB organizations.

Bees Buzz: Kyle Simon has made one start against York this season, tossing five innings and allowing just one run on five hits while striking out six in New Britain’s 4-3 loss at York on May 12…The Bees’ collective 2.74 ERA against the Revolution is the lowest mark for Bees’ pitchers against any team in 2016…First baseman Jon Griffin will be hoping the All-Star break doesn’t affect his hot start to July, as he is hitting .324 (11-34) with five RBIs and ten runs scored in 11 games of far this month…
