The Blues dropped the second leg of a home-and-home series against the Torrington Titans by a score of 5-0 July 17. Blues starter Jared Gallagher (Central CT State) got the start for the Blues and struggled with his command from the get-go. He yielded five runs on seven hits in four innings of work, walking three and striking out two. Sebastian DiMauro (Hartford) was terrific in relief, throwing five innings of scoreless ball, without walking a batter. The Blues bats struggled throughout the night, tallying only five hits in the game; two of which came from the bat of Blues OF Frankie Gregoire (Marist), who finished the day 2-4 with a double. The Blues are off tomorrow before coming back to Muzzy Field on Tuesday for an 11 AM game vs. the Brockton Rox.
