Angeline L. (Bisignano) Roberts, 87, of Danbury, former Bristol resident, and widow of Hollis Roberts, died Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Glen Hill Center, Danbury. Angeline was born in Bristol February 6, 1929 and was a daughter of the late Anthony and Lucia (Corletta) Bisignano. She was a lifelong Bristol resident, a graduate of Bristol High School class of 1947 and a member of St. Anthony Church, Bristol. Prior to retiring, she was employed at Johnson and Johnson. Angeline, known to us all as Angie, was a remarkable lady filled with love and compassion. She strongly believed to have friends you need to be a friend and invest time to listen. She was the keeper of many secrets, listened to many stories, laughed when you needed to laugh and cried when you needed a hug. She shared a passion for life and lived it to its fullest, there when you needed her whether upfront or by your side she was always willing to discover something new. Heaven has a new angel sitting by our Lord’s side; playing a holy game of cards, visiting the casino above the clouds, or having coffee with dear old friends and relatives, leaving behind memories of a beautiful lady whose kindness, warmth and unconditional love touched us all. Angeline is survived by a son, Roland Roberts of Bristol; a daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Russell Neumann of Danbury; a sister, Mickey Pasqualicchio of Bristol; a sister-in-law, Annie Bisignano of Bristol; a grandson, Kyle Hollis Neumann of Danbury; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, John and Joseph Bisignano and a sister, Kay Olszewski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, 11:30 A.M., at St. Anthony Church, 111 School St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
