This weekend, Laura Bartok, state representative candidate in the 77th District will be joined by supporters and other members of the community to officially launch her campaign efforts. The event is open to the public.
Bartok, born and raised in the district, was endorsed by the Bristol Democratic Town Committee in late May by a vote of more than three to one, said a press release from her campaign. Bartok graduated cum laude from Eastern Connecticut State University’s BSW program and holds a masters from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work’s Advanced Standing Policy Practice Sequence.
With less than two weeks to go, the release said, the campaign is knocking doors and calling Democrats ahead of the Tuesday, August 9th primary.
Laura Bartok and other Democratic candidates, Bristol DTC members, City Council members, volunteers will attend the event on Saturday, July 30 at 10 a.m. at 430 North Main St., at Northside Square in Bristol, between Super Natural Market & Deli and Tunxis@Bristol
It will kick off the Bartok campaign in Bristol. The release said the event will highlight the importance of electing Bartok to help the middle class, small businesses, and residents in the district.
