‘SHERLOCK HOMES AND THE ADVENTURE OF THE SPECKLED BAND.’ 1 p.m. Presented by the East Haddam Stage Company. A live reconstructed “radio” show using the 1930 script that William Gillette used for the first radio broadcast of a Sherlock Holmes story. Four actors play seven characters and produce the sound effects for this “old time” radio play. Followed by a retrospective on Connecticut’s William Gillette as Sherlock Holmes and Q&A. No charge.
