City sponsors movie night to honor actor Gene Wilder

The city of Bristol, in collaboration with Witch’s Dungeon Classic Movie Museum, the Bristol Historical Society and the Bristol Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a movie night tribute to the late actor Gene Wilder.

The Mum Festival Movie Night will take place this Sunday (Sept. 11) on the Memorial Boulevard Field where Mel Brook’s film, “Young Frankenstein” will be shown. The event also will feature classic Halloween cartoons all shown on film starting at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is free for people of all ages. Guests are invited to bring chairs and blankets. Refreshments and popcorn will be available for a small fee.
