School readiness programs offered to children

Bristol Board of Education, Bristol Preschool Child Care Center and Imagine Nation –A Museum Early Learning Center are the Bristol School Readiness Programs. The BOE offers programs at Hubbell School, Ivy Drive School, Mountainview School and South Side School. These are part-day/part-year spaces and have a sliding fee scale for payment. Bristol Preschool Child Care Center and Imagine Nation-A Museum Early Learning Center  provide full day/full year spaces and also use a sliding fee scale for payment. All these programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and meet the high quality standards as required by the School Readiness Grant.

The School Readiness Grant services children ages 3 and 4 years old- and prepares them to be ready and able to learn for Kindergarten.

Currently, there are openings in the School Readiness Programs – and there are openings for pre-K aged children. For part time spaces, the children must be Bristol residents. Full time spaces are open to non- Bristol residents.
