Obituaries: Dorothy DePatra

Dorothy (LaFlamme) DePatra, 87, of Bristol, beloved wife of Raymond M. DePatra, died on Saturday (October 22, 2016) at Sheriden Woods Health Care Center.  Dorothy was born on May 30, 1929 in Bristol and was a daughter of the late Charles and Marie (LaFleur) LaFlamme.  She was a lifelong Bristol resident where she graduated from Bristol High School in 1947. She had worked at Travelers and Connecticut General Insurance Companies as well as Southern New England Telephone.  She was a member of the auxiliaries at the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans and was a parishioner of St. Ann Church in Bristol.  In addition to her husband of 66 years, she leaves several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by: two brothers: William and George LaFlamme and two sisters: Madeline LaFlamme and Evelyn Piper.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (October 26, 2016) at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, 33 Queen Street, Bristol.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.  Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Wednesday between 8:30 and 10:30 AM.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Legion, 22 Hooker Court, Bristol, CT 06010:  Please visit Dorothy’s memorial web-site at www.FunkFuneralHome.comdepatra-dorothy-001
