BRISTOL BRASS AND WIND ENSEMBLE VETERAN’S DAY CONCERT. 7 p.m. Directed by Richard Theriault. Special honor guard provided by the American Legion and the Bristol Veterans Council “Fanfare for the Common Man” by Aaron Copland. Singers will join for “Armed Foreces—The Pride of America.” Additional selection by John Williams. Video presentation prepared from photographs of local soldiers taken during World War II, the Korean War, and the other photographs collected by the Bristol Military Museum will be shown to the music from “Band of Brothers” by Michael Kamen. Bob Coccagnia, a member of the clarinet section, will conduct the band in a special tribute to his brother Lou, who was solo clarinetist for the U.S. Marine Band.
