Obituaries: George M. Ouellette

George M. Ouellette, 67, of Bristol, loving husband of Marie-Therese Ouellette for 35 years, passed away suddenly at home on Nov. 10, 2016. George was born on May 3, 1949, in Van Buren, Maine, and was the son of the late Mack and Louise (Akerley) Ouellette. He joined the U.S. Airforce and served in Korea. He was employed at Pratt and Whitney for 43 years, retiring in 2010. He was well known for his love and knowledge of Toyota vehicles, it was his passion. In addition to his wife, George is survived by his two sons: Nicholas Ouellette and fiancé Cassie, of Holden, MA, Timothy Ouellette and wife Genevieve Ouellette, of Newington; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, George was pre-deceased by his brother: Roger Ouellette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (Nov. 14, 2016) at 10:30 AM at St. Gregory Church, 235 Maltby St., Bristol. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends are invited to call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol on Sunday (Nov. 13, 2016) between 2 and 4 PM.
