BRISTOL – Podcasts are where its at nowadays and some students from Bristol Eastern even have their own show.

The ever popular “Lancers with Answers” podcast is a growing program at Eastern as student athletes Logan Schenck, Jack Stevens, Emma Rodjenski, and recent addition Elijah Parent talk about sports, student life and other activities.

The students got the equipment through the donors choose program and the panel have tackled all sorts of topics.

They’ve put together seven episodes to date and an eighth episode will include a look at the career of outstanding wrestler, Trinidad Gonzalez, and the other great wrestlers that have come through the Lancers’ program.

The podcast crew went to the Hurley/Wojnarowski breakfast at the Bristol Boys and Girls Club and the first program started up right before Thanksgiving.

The seventh installment of the podcast spoke about the girls basketball games against East Catholic and Waterford, the players that made the CCC South All Conference squad, the boys hoops win over Bristol Central, and the wrestling teams performance at the Class L championships.

There was some very good insight on those girls games and the panel thought that Ciara Collins could even be All-State player in two sports by the time she’s done competing at Bristol Eastern.

Those were just a few of the topics the podcast tackled and more programs will follow.

On Twitter, following BEHS Athletics will get you to the “Lancers with Answers” podcast.

Students at Eastern are also encouraged to submit questions for the program.
