Habitat for Humanity breaks ground in Bristol

The Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity broke ground on Haviland Street in Bristol last Friday. The Habitat for Humanity along with Arthur G. Russell, the City of Bristol, Barnes Group Foundation, ESPN, Liberty Bank, and The Main Street Foundation are funding this project. They are building two, single family homes, new construction and will begin construction in May.

Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity has made a home in Bristol. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Friday, March 13 on Haviland Street. The new construction project is supported by the Arthur G. Russell Company, a Bristol-based company in the field of automatic assembly equipment. The company endorses this project with a monetary donation as well as volunteering time alongside homeowners to on the construction site.
