‘Don’t Be Scared– Be Prepared’ is TRIAD event topic Oct. 22


The West Central Connecticut TRIAD will hold a free event on Thursday, Oct. 22 at the Bristol Public Library.  The theme of this event is “Don’t Be Scared – Be Prepared: Stay Safe and Sound This Season.”

This event will focus on senior safety and will feature the following key-note speakers:

David Van Allen, Webster Bank – “How to Protect Yourself from Financial Fraud and Abuse”

Harley Graime, EMD/CERT – “Being Prepared for Emergencies”

Tim Callanan, Bristol Fire Prevention Bureau – “Fire Safety and Prevention.”

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and refreshments will be served.
