Obituary: Deborah (Krampitz) Senior, 72


Deborah (Krampitz) Senior, 72, passed away March 12, 2020 surrounded by loving family.  Born in Bristol, daughter of the late Rhiny and Betty Krampitz, she graduated from Terryville High School and attended Concordia College, NY, where she met and married her true love and best friend, James Senior.  As a military spouse, she lived in Colorado, California, Mississippi, Virginia, and Germany, where she enjoyed learning the culture and exploring Europe.  Before returning to Terryville, Deborah lived for many years in Annapolis, MD, where she retired after a career with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric (NOAA).  She enjoyed baking, decorating, Scrabble, and spending time with her grandchildren.  Deborah is survived by her husband, Jim, her daughter Molly Senior, and three grandchildren, Orenda, Kahiona, and Ti.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Jessica.  She also leaves her brother, Randy Krampitz and his wife Jan, sister, Kim Dougherty and her husband Bob, and her nephew Jay Krampitz and his wife Jessica Monty.  Her family is grateful for the compassionate care provided by UCONN Neag Cancer Center and Bristol Home Care & Hospice Agency.  All services for Deborah are private.  To leave a message of remembrance, please visit Donations to honor Deborah’s memory may be sent to UCONN Neag Cancer Center, 263 Farmington Ave., Farmington, CT 06030 or Hospice of Bristol, P.O.Box 977, Bristol, CT  06011.
